Silicone overmolding services

Silicone overmolding services

Silicone overmolding, also known as vacuum injection molding, requires the use of silicone molds. Use the product prototype (such as SLA or prototype processing) to make a silicone mold in a vacuum state, and cast it with PU material in a vacuum state to clone the same replica as the product prototype.

  • Minimum wall thickness of parts: 0.5mm, optimal: 1.5mm~2.5mm.
  • Standard tolerance: ±0.2mm/100mm, the highest accuracy can reach: ±0.1mm.
  • Each mold can be copied at most 20 pieces, and if the parts require high quality (such as transparent or complex structures), one mold can only make 12 or even 10 castings.
  • Post-processing: sandblasting, painting, polishing, water-jet sand, pad printing, silk screen printing, UV coating, hot stamping, electroplating, laser engraving, frosted etching, etc.
